TrafficZion: How to Make a Ticker To Draw Traffic (BONUS BELOW)

A ticker, also known as marquees, tickers scroll across the width of your viewing screen, presenting messages that are designed to be viewed and understood at a glance. Now, these messages are commonly used on television screens to display news highlights or stock market data, tickers sometimes appear on the Web as well.

Today, with a few lines of HTML and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) code, you can quickly add this type of content to your website but we are not interested in using (CSS). We are just simply interested in the generic programming aspects and the visual effects to draw attention.

Lets add a ticker to our website using a few lines of code:

Open your Web page and view its HTML code.

If you use a text editor, open your page in the editor and scroll down.

Go to the part of the page where you want to add the ticker.

As you know, TrafficZion is a software "Digital Assistant". An employee that is made to generate traffic. Now, most customers who use TZ or TrafficZion use the software on their main computer. The software can run in the background, unattended. As long as TZ is running, it is generating traffic.

The best way to run TZ in our opion is on a "Second Computer" we like to call the TZ Server. While not everyone will agree with us, it is human nature to play with stuff. We have one big piece of advice. Sto playing with the baby, because its not a toy.

Yes, TZ is a big baby and its only job is to generate traffic. But running on a single computer by its lonesome, could appear to be a waste. Not so fast. Did you know that your TZ server can also upload images, text files, html files, pdf files, audio files and in combination. As a matter of fact, your marque could say one message and 15 minutes later, your TZ server can FTP another .html file with a new marque message.

Ordinary, this could be done by a computer program or word press plug-ing. But you are not a computer programmer, are you? Would you care to learn? Well, we thought not as well. However, you probably would enjoy learning to script this entire process of uploading a file to your website every 30 minutes or less or maybe longer- quickly and easily.

Listen, if you are not interested in scripting your TZ server, then click away. But for those of you interested in taking your marketing to the next level and experimenting and implementing new technology using your TZ Server, then this project is for you.

The microsoft operating system since windows 95 has something called the Task Scheduler.

The purpose of this tiny program is to enable you to kick off programs, residing on the machine to perform a task at a specific time and date. You can even go so far as making tasks that kick off, only with specific credentials.

This software program or (utility) was powerful, but difficult to utilize.

Most people found that the program does not perform nicely. "all the time" by yours truly.

Are you a programmer? Do you know HTML, PHP or Java Script? Well, if you answered no to any and all of them, this is great information for you.

There iside the Macro Scheduler as the name implies is a task oriented managed that literally replaces the windows task scheduler. Its one more reason to buy the software, if you have not already done so.

What is a Gravatar?

A Gravatar is just a piece of code that is unique to YOU and more your property. Everyone has a unique Gravatar/avatar. An avatar is an icon or an image that represents you in the virtual world.

Btw, a Gravatar is a Globally Recognized Avatar.

Q: Should you use a logo or your photo?

Answer: Entirely up to you. Prefer the use of logo. Can't sell your business if your face is all over it? Right? But that is entirely up to you. Be sure to check out the Famous Amos, cookie guy- and what happen to him when he lost his name.
Slap a logo on it and you'll be a-ok.

Strategy: "Did you know that any changes made to your Gravatar image in your Gravatar account is made across all websites" So, if think what your Gravatar would look like if it became a domain name. ie. "space constraints". The address would have to be pretty short and easy to type.

Convert your most popular post into a PDF which allows you to create a great freebie that’s proven to be popular in a short span of time.

Of course, it’s always fine if you want to create something mind-blowing that’s entirely new and fresh. Nothing wrong with that.

  1. So How Do You Decide On What Your Freebie Will Be?

Simple. Take your initial idea and flex it by 10x. Pull various parts to make a cheat sheet, read the cheat sheet to make an audio file for those folks that prefer audio. Your audience will want the freebie because it has everything they are looking for especially for their mood. Create something that's in demand, something that people need or must have. My ideal customers are feeling small and invisible, and they want more traffic, then give it to them. That's when you can rely on using outside influences, and your audience to generate something totally new.

  1. Your Freebie Must Looks Professionally Designed

First impressions count and that's why it is always a good idea be sure you generate multiple designs. If you hate three of your designs, then present design #1 on Monday, design #2 on Thursday and the last design on Sunday.

Pole your audience as which design they like and post that design and the final.

To get the very best, I recommend using to create a great looking report/ checklist, but I recently found another site that does just as well.  It is FREE and it allows you to create really great looking PDFs and graphics that’ll blow your subscriber’s socks off.

Prep Yourself to Step Up Your Game

Your freebie has to be your BEST work, period.

If you have a crappy freebie that you’ve quickly put together, people are going to tell, and they’re not going to stick around. In fact, they’ll probably unsubscribe pretty soon.

Giving your best stuff from the get-go ensures that people remember you and prime them to buy from you at a later date. It ensures that your brand stands out from the crowd.

Creating something good off the bat also results in people sharing your stuff to their friends, giving you free organic traffic. It’ll all pay off in the end.

  1. But Finally, Give People a Way to Share Your Freebie Easily

Always give people an option to share your freebie via your specialized link. If they prefer to share it the way you see fit, then tell them to do so. Encourage but don’t tell the how to do it. Let then decide how to, if they dare.


  1. Take It Easy, No Hard

Nailing your freebie on the first try is not hard but rare if you mess it up. Understand that  I went through several iterations of lead magnets before I figured how to create excellent ones.  Keep going, keep it high quality, take what I say here as a lesson.
